If you can’t feel safe in your own home, then where can you feel safe at? There are many homeowners, nowadays, that are installing security systems into their household in order to gain that safe feeling they deserve. Whether you live in a busy city area or in the mountains somewhere, integrating security is an ideal move to make, as break-ins can happen anywhere. Protecting your family should be a top priority for any home owner so this type of wireless security technology should be invested in as soon as possible.

What appeals to many people is the fact that these protective pieces are wireless, making it easier for you to install. Their range is outstanding and you are able to communicate over hundreds of feet. offer hotels the opportunity to improve communication between their staff, and security for their guests.

Equipping each hotel employee with their own wireless pager allows for constant communication between the entire hotel staff. The wait staff will be able to send messages to the kitchen staff containing guest orders. The kitchen staff will be able to effectively inform waiters when their order is up and the maintenance staff will be able to be notified of issues right away so they may be fixed faster. Wireless paging systems also allow better management and improve the productivity in each hotel department.

There is no such thing as too much security. It is a hotels job to protect their guests and staff. A wireless paging system may decrease the risks of injuries and other crime. If each employee has their own wireless pager than all an employee will have to do is hit a button to send an alert to notify the proper security staff of a situation. The pager includes the employee's location and identity when alert is sent. Anyone who receives the alert will also have the ability to send a confirmation to the sender letting them know help is on the way.

Wireless pagers have many different applications that can virtually be applied to any type of workplace environment. Bridging gaps in communication between employees is a simple solution to any business searching for a way to improve their services. Enabling your staff to communicate more effectively increases workplace efficiency, safety, and inevitably your profits.

Applying our Tech in Assisted Living Homes!

At Turn-key Technologies we provide our customers with the highest quality paging systems that meet all of their needs. One type of facility in particular that utilizes the types of paging systems we manufacture are assisted living facilities. Just like other medical institutions, assisted living homes use paging systems to increase the safety of their patients and staff. Our wireless paging systems have the ability to increase safety, better employee communication, are easy to install, and assure families of the residents that their loved ones are protected.

Our wireless paging systems completely eliminates old overhead paging that result in a decrease of noise and distractions on the assisted living home. Older paging systems found in assisted living homes commonly use pull cords to page a member of the staff. However, if a patient has fallen and is not in reach of the pull cord they have no way of notifying the staff they need assistance. By utilizing Turn-key personal safety pagers, residents are able to notify staff members when they need assistance anytime and anywhere. All the patient has to do is press a button. Staff members who receive the page are then able to send respond to the page to assure the resident that help is on the way.

Not only do these systems improve communication between residents and staff members, but they also increase communication between the staff itself. Each staff member has a wireless pager that can send and receive messages. A staff member can send a message to a single individual or group of individuals. Not only will the sender be notified that their message was successfully sent, but they will also know that their message was received.

For families who put the care of their elderly loved ones in the hands of assisted living facilities knowing that their senior is safe and protected is important. Wireless security technology can give those families reassurance that their loved one is in good care and will be taken care of 24/7.

Our Turn-key paging system is easy to install in all types of facilities. A wireless paging system simply needs to be turned on and have a signal to communicate so no more running wires. They also have a wide range that covers the entire facility grounds so no matter where an employee or patient is they can be reached.

How Paging Systems are implemented in Everyday Facilities

Emergency notification systems are not just for hazardous workplaces, government buildings or hospitals. They can be effective in a wide range of other businesses and facilities we visit on a weekly basis. From our favorite stores to our local night hot spots, we can rest assured knowing those business are putting paging systems to use to protect our safety and increase their organizations overall efficiency.

Nightclubs and bars are loud, dark places filled with people who are under the influence. The mix of those three factors can be the perfect recipe for trouble. Some of these places can be fairly large and with only a limited number of security guards and bouncers, it could be difficult for a security issue to be handled immediately. To eliminate the chances of security threats in these late-night institutions, the security staff can implement the use of an emergency notification paging systems. Paging systems can notify staff immediately where and who needs assistance.

Shopping malls are a source for a mixture of security threats such as shoplifting, vandalism, bullying, and robberies. The security staff is stretched thin from patrolling the large building as well as the parking areas. Paging systems bridge the gaps in communication between the security staff and the store employees. These systems allow all mall employees to better communicate in case of a shoplifting threat or other disturbance.

Although hotels have security guards a paging system works differently in this type of environment. Instead of contributing solely to the safety of the hotel guests, the system pagers are used to increase the resorts customer service. Through the paging system, hotel employees are able to send messages concerning a guest request. For example, if a guest makes a food or beverage request the message can be sent to the hub containing the request, the guests name and their location. This helps improve efficiency around the hotel and increase customer satisfaction.

Network System Security

Aruba Networks

Meru Networks

School Safety

School safety has become a major concern over the years. Tragic events like Columbine and the 911 terrorist attacks demonstrate why our schools need to be prepared for emergency situations.

The National School Safety Center has a number of resources to help schools prepare themselves and develop a safety plan. One article that I found very informative is titled "Schools and Readiness". The article explains why schools need to be ready for an emergency and how they can go about developing a plan.

The relevance to Turn-Key Technologies comes in the way that the company can help schools prepare themselves. Turn-Key offers a number of wireless security solutions including the TTI Guardian, a wireless duress and emergency notification system that incorporates personal duress alarms, mass notifications, acknowledged paging and man-down or no-movement alarms. Schools using the TTI Guardian provide an extra layer of safety, which creates an unmeasurable amount of value to their education system.

Emergency Situations Require Ekahau RTLS

When an emergency arises, knowing the whereabouts of the necessary equipment and people to save the situation is key to a successful outcome. The situation could be in a hospital emergency room where a resuscitation device is needed immediately or it could be at an information technology center where a system guru must be located to avoid a complete meltdown. Either way, proper technology to find the needed resource is as important as life or death.

This is where RFID and RTLS come into play. RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) works hand in hand with a RTLS (Real Time Locating System) to track and identify objects, equipment or people, in real time location. The RFID is a tag applied to the object that has the capability of being tracked through radio waves. Once a tag is applied to an object, a RTLS is installed to collect information on the location of the RFID tags. For example, if a heart surgeon carrying a RFID tag needs to be located immediately, the RTLS can determine his or her whereabouts and report the location to the team trying to track him down.

Turn-Key Technologies has excelled in the industry by creating a Wi-Fi Based RFID/RTLS product called Ekahau RTLS. The product can operate on any Wi-Fi network with no readers, cables, choke-points, or exciters.

Check out the many additional benefits and advantages of Ekahau through the following link: RTLS
